“UN Food Systems Summit Independent Dialogues” Grassroots Perspective, Asia -Africa

The online dialogue was held to bring the perspectives of farmers and producers in Asia and Africa into the UN Food Systems Summit 2021. The participants were from 19 countries.

    Action Track 3 (Boost nature-positive production).
    Facilitator – Ajay Vir Jakhar, Vice-Chair for Action Track 2 at the UNFSS.
  • Discussion Group 3:
    Action Tracks 4 (Advance equitable livelihoods) and 5 (Build resilience to vulnerabilities, shocks, and stress).
    Facilitator – Dr. Eliane Ubalijoro, Professor of Practice for public and private sector partnerships at McGill University and Global Hub Director for Future Earth in Montreal and Executive Director of Sustainability in the Digital Age.
